Responsibilities
Subject matter expert on the financial impact of Rebate agreements with vendors
Ensure the integrity of revenue related to volume rebates at month end close
Central point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders.
Monitor and reconcile accuracy of rebates program accruals, revenues and payments through vendors
Provide any requested information
Follow-up on amounts due and not collected
Maintain all analyses and supporting schedules related to volume rebates
Prepare required journal entries, and reconcile affected GL accounts.
Understand and analyze volume rebates revenue performance as compared to the prior year
Collaborate with Operations teams and other internal groups to help to achieve volume rebates growth objectives.
Calculate, prepare, analyze and communicate progress with respect to rebates growth programs
Build support for year-end accrual.
Seek to improve accuracy of financial information and automate processes
Collaborate as required in systems implementations or other initiatives.
Qualifications
BAC in Accounting or other relative experience
3 - 5 years of experience in similar role
Experience working with SAP or other ERP Systems (an Asset)
Proficient in excel
Bilingual (an Asset)
