Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and support financial reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
- Assist with month-end reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Support the accounts payable (AP) team by reviewing and posting AP batches and assisting with data entry when needed.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of accounting experience with a focus on reconciliations, reporting, and journal entries.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Experience with Great Plains (nice to have).
- Experience working in a charity/non-profit organization (nice to have).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
