You’ll play a key role in the financial planning and analysis function of their Field Services division — working directly with project teams on a variety of construction-type and time/material-based financial tasks. This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their finance career who’s looking for hands-on exposure in a high-impact environment.
This is a 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension. Hybrid - 2-days in office in Oakville.

Responsibilities
-Assist with forecasting for revenue recognition.
-Prepare and process invoices and supplier proformas.
-Conduct cost analysis and generate gross margin reports.
-Perform labour accruals and contribute to absorption reporting.
-Support month-end activities and related ad hoc financial tasks.
-Maintain regular communication with busy Project Managers – adapting communication style as needed.
-Provide support on partial billing and various process improvement initiatives.
-Collaborate independently while reporting activities and updates to the manager.
-Help with reconciliation of account statuses with vendors and clients.
Qualifications
-1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (ideal for early-career professionals).
-Some exposure to invoicing and financial analysis in a corporate setting.
-Strong Excel skills required; SAP knowledge is an asset.
-Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
-Self-motivated, curious, and genuinely interested in understanding the nature of the company’s work.
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
