Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist with the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and conducting detailed investigations and analysis when necessary.
- Partner with Financial Analysts to provide valuable data insights and add analytical value to financial reports.
- Maintain process documentation and proactively identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement efficiencies.
- Be an active member of the Commercial Accounting team, collaborating on problem-solving, completing ad-hoc requests, and being adaptable to shifting priorities and improve existing accounting processes for greater efficiency.
- Contribute to team discussions, tackle complex challenges, and flexibly handle a variety of tasks.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Currently pursuing or have obtained an accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, which will enhance your ability to navigate the company’s financial systems.
- Experience working closely with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams or other business units to provide financial insights.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and business partnering.
