Responsibilities
Has a proven experience in welding (tig/arc), fabricating, troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding,
pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical work, and general facility maintenance.
Reads and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine
wiring layouts for new or existing installations and identify any potential drawbacks.
Independently works on pumps, conveyors, agitators, gear boxes, and compressors.
Takes initiative, accountability in ensuring equipment is operational by being proactive in taking
corrective action.
Good troubleshooting skills to resolution.
Monitors all equipment and repair immediately.
In conjunction with technical production mechanical, support any line change over process
equipment setups when required by department, supervisor or manager and make
recommendations for improvement to increase the line efficiency.
Schedule the required external services.
Must be willing to work rotating flex schedule .
Qualifications
Red Seal Certification or higher. Such as numerous certifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar business.
Highly organized.
Perform all work and support of our corporate values of pride, accountability, integrity, and
diligence.
Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values.
Ability to use Microsoft Office to put together projects and manage.
Superior communication skills.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of plant operations and can operate multiple pieces of equipment.
Work in a physically demanding position, requires lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Work condition, hot/cold environment, slippery and wet floors, etc.
Ability to work long hours, bending, climb ladders, and work at heights.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to speak, read and write English, and to
follow written and verbal instructions.
Able to oversee training and participate in transferring knowledge to junior technicians.
Good analytics and presentation skills.
Making accurate arithmetic calculations.
Ability to work independently and part of a team with minimum supervision.
