We are currently recruiting a millwright who is located in Guelph or the surrounding area to join a growing maintenance team for a large organization. The successful candidate will be performing routine preventive maintenance on a number of different machines as well as responding to breakdowns or other issues. They will also assist in the ongoing development of the occupational health and safety program in the plant.

Responsibilities
-Troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in a fast-paced, environment
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Maintain operation of the boiler systems, heating, steam, and energy supply.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to work independently and be self-directed in a demanding, fast-paced production environment,
adjusting to changing priorities & roles as required
- Must be willing to work in a team environment
- Flexibility to work weekends to meet business needs
Qualifications
- Licensed 433A Industrial Millwright
- Industrial Millwright with 5 years of experience
- Experience working in different sectors/industries
- Experience in an automotive environment is an asset
- Prior experience with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Read electrical drawings/schematics, info sheets
