General Description
• The Supply Chain Professional Level 2 is accountable for delivering assigned outcomes related to the development and execution of category/project supply chain strategies, sourcing strategies and/or sourcing activities following established processes and quality requirements.
• This role would generally be assigned medium complexity and/or risk work assignments with minimal oversight or medium to higher complexity and/or risk work assignments with more oversight.
• A relationship-driven professional with a strong focus on business development, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration. Skilled in active listening, service-oriented, and adept at fostering positive working relationships across multiple internal teams.

Responsibilities
• A minimum eight (8) years progressive Supply Chain Management experience.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and advice to client groups within the line of business in sourcing, procuring, and managing a wide range of goods and services, particularly those with high value, high complexity, and/or high financial or political risk impacts.
• Lead cross-functional evaluation teams through the sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract transitioning stages.
• Monitor processes with end-users to ensure services and materials are purchased effectively and in accordance with policies and directives across company.
• Develop relationships with key contacts at all levels within the organization and external .
• Accountable for determining appropriate sourcing methods, including the preparation and evaluation of contracting documents such as project procurement strategies, contracting plan, RFP's, RFEI's, RFSQ's, and RFQ’s.
• Accountable for maintaining integrity of Hydro's procurement practices.
• May be required to manage the subsequent contracts.
• May provide work direction to a team of procurement analysts and administrative support staff.
Qualifications
Must haves:
-A business relationship development-focused individual who is interested in working with several internal stakeholders and requires a skill set in listening, is both service oriented, and succeeds with collaboration - positive demeanor, people skills - a team player but a self starter who can maintain and build stakeholder engagement.
-Proficient working with advanced Excel and powerpoint, drafting well written business briefing documents highlighting key information for leadership review.
-Initiative-driven individuals that handle ambiguity with ease and can maintain focus and positive engagement with stakeholders.
-Build Strategic relationships
-Sourcing work, developing sourcing strategies and document RFPs/RFIs, diligent with the details
Nice to haves:
-Operational supply chain experience
-Experience with BC Bid would be an asset
-Someone who has experience working in larger/complex organizations (people from the Oil & Gas industry)
