• The Project Manager - Infrastructure Level 1 is responsible for the successful completion of low to medium risk infrastructure or other construction projects by leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams through project activities so that projects are successfully completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
As a project management professional, this role is responsible for managing new technology; Trials, Demonstrations and Testing. This includes but is not limited to new energy management products and services. The position will lead multiple trial and research projects across all customer sector portfolios.
The position will be results-oriented, have an exceptional customer centric orientation, and take a practical and creative approach to effectively resolve problems. The position will be accountable for implementing new technology; trials, demonstrations and testing utilizing best practices in research, analytics, data analysis and research design.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
* Research, Test and Report on new products and innovative technologies
* Identify, design, develop, execute, and manage Trials, Demonstrations and Testing projects and initiatives for the Innovation team across multiple customer segments.
* Provide project management leadership and direction and leads multi-disciplinary project team.
* Monitor the trial results to ensure learnings and delivery targets are achieved and/or initiate alternate strategies.
* Monitor the trial/project progress, schedule, and financials to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.
* Engage with cross functional teams and stakeholders in the development and execution of initiatives.
* Run regular and ad hoc project update meetings and design workshops to ensure regular communication amongst program stakeholders.
* Manage key relationships with other groups involved in the implementation of trials, research projects, including other departments, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
* Generate presentation material and reports to debrief leadership and peers on the research, trials and testing results.
Qualifications
Must have:
- A minimum five (5) years of project management experience or equivalent.
- Understanding of Energy management, energy conservation
- A condition of employment for this role is that you maintain your Driver's License (Class 5) in good standing.
Assets:
* A Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience. Experience in product management or scientific research and testing.
* A technical background that will support the general understanding of the technologies that are being investigated.
* 5+ years of experience with project management, product/program development and administration, product testing, product research or analysis, financial analysis, all within a large, complex organization.
* Experience working with a variety of partners on project design and project management (e.g. Equipment manufacturers, installers, research agencies, industry associations, other utilities, municipal and provincial government stakeholders).
The successful candidate will have experience in project management, program/product development and the management of multiple projects. The candidate will need to work with other product teams to transition trials and testing into new product offerings and new operational initiatives. The role will require abilities in leading and working in cross-functional teams, and external stakeholder/vendor relationship management.
