Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
•Review and analyze Business Requirements and Solution Design documents
•Manually design test scenarios and test cases with the opportunity to contribute to automation testing
•Identify and/or create test data for specific test cases
•Execute test cases and analyze results
•Report, track, and retest defects
•Participate in daily huddles to report on testing progress and/or barriers
•Participate in Sprint Planning sessions and other agile ceremonies as required
•Follow escalation process to resolve issues in a timely manner
•Support business with User Acceptance testing processes and deliverables as required
•Proactively manage workload
•Perform other duties and functions as assigned
Qualifications
Specific Project Requirements
•3-5 years’ experience as a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst service provider or similar services
•Experience with various software development methodologies including but not necessarily limited to Agile
•Experience working in an Agile environment
•Experience/knowledge of all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
•Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and oral communication skills
•Knowledge and hands-on experience with a Defect Tracking tool
•Knowledge and hands-on experience with a Test Management Tool
Top Skills Required:
•Strong communication skills – both written and oral, with an ability to adapt the communication style to the different audiences e.g. business, technical
•Strong time management and organizational skills
•Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
•Able to work well independently and collaboratively
