Responsibilities
•Design and build ETL pipelines from Oracle sources to Azure Data Lake using Databricks and ADF
•Implement initial and incremental load mechanisms using CDC and Oracle GoldenGate
•Transform data through Delta Lake zones (bronze, silver, gold) using PySpark
•Review source data models and recommend optimal transformations and schema designs
•Prepare design artifacts, process diagrams, STTM documents, and physical schema scripts
•Develop and deploy Databricks notebooks and packages for scheduled data loads
•Conduct unit testing, validate data quality, and resolve performance or load issues
•Create production deployment plans, execute go-live activities, and provide post-deployment support
•Perform dimensional modeling and data mart schema design (star/snowflake)
•Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and develop supporting documentation for ongoing maintenance
Qualifications
•7+ years in Data Warehousing and ETL development
•3+ years in Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Python, and PySpark
•Proficiency with SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL
•Experience with GoldenGate CDC and Delta Lake architecture
•Familiarity with dimensional modeling and tools like PowerDesigner
•Experience with DevOps pipelines, Agile methodologies, and cloud deployment
•Strong documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities, including training delivery
•Expertise in performance tuning, ETL optimization, and troubleshooting
