The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring document compliance, adherence to standards, and accuracy of information entered in our systems and those of the lender. To meet the required level of efficiency, the analyst documents files to help brokers improve the quality of their file presentations.

Responsibilities
• Verify and validate all information related to a mortgage financing application.
• Review the documentation related to a mortgage financing application.
• Index documents according to the lender's standards.
• Provide quick and accurate decisions to various stakeholders.
• Index information according to established parameters.
• Properly document files.
• Keep track of applications in various systems.
• Assist and work as a team with other analysts.
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of file requirements.
• Stay up to date on lender guidelines and their interpretation.
• Generate reports when required and make recommendations.
• Support brokers in their learning process.
• Exercise vigilance to detect any potential issues (fraud, regulatory concerns, or others).
Qualifications
• Postsecondary education in a relevant field.
• At least two (2) years of experience in mortgage financing.
• Knowledge of mortgage financing products.
• Strong communication and writing skills in both French and English. Given that the vast majority of our clients are outside Quebec, bilingualism is required.
• Practical knowledge of web browsers and Outlook.
• Analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
