Responsibilities
Web & UI/UX Design:
Develop high-quality mockups and website layouts that prioritize visual hierarchy, contrast, typography, and spacing.
Design and implement responsive, mobile-friendly interfaces that deliver seamless experiences across devices and browsers.
Create custom UI components and content elements using HTML and CSS.
Ensure all designs align with SEO and accessibility standards for optimal content structure and usability.
Lead design discussions, provide UX recommendations, and ensure brand consistency.
Client Collaboration & Project Management:
Work closely with clients to gather design requirements, present mockups, and refine designs based on feedback.
Manage content updates for new and existing websites using a proprietary content management system.
Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct virtual client meetings using WebEx, Zoom, or similar platforms.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Assist in evaluating and quoting client design requests for feasibility and effort.

Provide training and coaching on UI/UX best practices and CMS functionalities.

Technical Expertise:

Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing modern UI, responsive layouts, and design fundamentals.
Advanced proficiency in HTML and CSS, including the ability to create and modify custom content elements.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout composition, and interaction design.
Experience working with CMS platforms such as Kentico, WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace.
Knowledge of SEO best practices, web accessibility (WCAG), and mobile-first design.
Experience designing email templates and managing content updates.
Strong communication and client-facing skills, including experience conducting design presentations.
Preferred Skills:
Basic JavaScript knowledge for minor interactive enhancements.
Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop for asset creation and optimization.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, or Campaigner.
Experience working in agile environments and using project management tools.
