Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller must be proactive and solution-oriented, while having a solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Main tasks:
- Oversee and manage the company's financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement effective financial processes to support the company's strategic objectives.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with current financial and tax regulations.
- Collaborate closely with operational departments to optimize costs and improve financial efficiency.
- Manage budgets, financial forecasts and cash flow plans.
- Participate in strategic decision-making by providing in-depth financial analysis and recommendations.
- Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks and other stakeholders.
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS/GAAP.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Knowledge of sustainable development issues and practices.
