Responsibilities
DUTIES:
-Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and current processes related to the initiatives.
-Conduct meetings, workshops, and review existing documentation to comprehensively capture and analyze business requirements, aligning with Project Management Methodology, Business Analysis Frameworks, and Standard Systems Development Methodologies.
-Analyze business operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements.
-Perform system analysis and collaborate with technical leads and SMEs to ensure that the technical solutions align to the business requirements.
-Develop clear and concise documentation for business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and capability and process modeling.
-Implement a comprehensive review process to ensure the completeness and accuracy of requirements documentation.
-Manage requirements through their lifecycle and ensure all documented requirements are approved, traceable, verifiable, and aligned with business objectives and strategies.
-Facilitate discussions around any changes or updates to the requirements, ensuring proper documentation and communication of changes to relevant stakeholders.
Project Support:
-Support business case development and presentation for core or intake meetings.
-Contribute to high-level technical solution exploration and provide input.
-Contribute to RFP creation and participate in the RFP review processes.
-Support organization change management, training, and related document creation.
-Review test plans and ensure test strategies involve appropriate integration and process components.
-Ensure test cases align to documented business and solution requirements.
-Provide support to defect review and resolution.
-Monitor testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal risk.
Client Liaison and Communication:
-Establish, improve, and maintain relationships with business in order to provide effective technical solutions.
-Communicate business needs to IT stakeholders in a solution-oriented manner.
-Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
-Keep project team informed of problems, issues, and resolutions.
BA Practice and Continual Improvement:
-Adopt established processes and tools for requirements documentation.
-Identify opportunities for process improvement in requirements gathering and documentation, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
-Transfer knowledge to all team members and design templates and materials for reuse.
-Provides advice, guidance, and constructive feedback to peers.
Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must Haves:
-5 to 7 or more years of relevant technical and work experience.
-Ability to develop and prepare technical specifications and documentation.
-Ability to conducts business modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects.
-Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in report generation.
-Successful completion of projects in Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
