Responsibilities
• Lead development and implementation of PMaG processes.
• Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines, contribute to the review of internal processes and activities, and assist in identifying potential opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
• Execute Monitoring & Control process to validate that work completed by Journeys adheres to the controls outlined in the NEW Delivery Policy and related Standards detailed on the DEF
• Execute or support Data Hygiene process to ensure that Journeys data in Jira adheres to defined Standards and work with peers/Journeys to address issues with data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain consistently high governance and compliance results, by playing a lead role in the monitoring and control process, working with practitioners to improve areas noted as deficiencies or provide awareness to key stakeholders on DEF compliance opportunities.
• Review work completed by teams to gauge the effectiveness of the control processes and identify and recommend areas requiring improvement.
• Develop and provide assessments across Journeys and in aggregate for Business Banking related to uncovered DEF compliance themes and trends.
• Monitor remediation of gaps and escalate recurring gaps to the Journey owner.
• Develop and deliver presentations/communications to management or broader audiences.
• Act as centralized expert in DEF policies and standards supporting inquiries from delivery practitioners and partners regarding best practices.
• Work directly with internal Audit: conduct walkthroughs of processes; remediate audit findings. And provide support to Journeys who undergo audit for delivery of change initiatives.
• Review exception requests (deviations from DEF criteria); submit exception requests to EPMaG, document & communicate the decision to requestor and follow-up with Journeys on conditions/actions until closure.
• Support portfolio performance reporting, work with Journeys to review the results, assess trends & develop commentary and submit to EPMaG.
• Monitor, triage and respond to queries in the departmental mailbox.
Qualifications
• Strong communicator with excellent oral and written skills.
• Expert knowledge of Jira (filter queries) and Confluence.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, also Word, PowerPoint).
• Full understanding of Visio, and business process mapping functions
• Experience using SharePoint, Teams, One Note.
• Highly motivated individual with willingness to take initiative and propose pragmatic solutions to complex challenges and issues.
• Acts with a high level of professionalism, has an innovative mindset and works well in a team environment.
• Works effectively in a team environment and be able to interact with all levels of personnel from various functional areas.
