On April 26th, Google for Jobs officially rolled out in Canada. Over the past couple months, a lucky few had a chance to try the tool as it was being tested in the Canadian market. However, as of today, Google for Jobs has launched to everyone in Canada! So, if you’re a big fan of ‘googling it,’ now you can use Google search to streamline looking for a job, too! So what do you need to know about Google for Jobs?
first, what is google for jobs?
Google for Jobs is exactly what it sounds like. You can now use Google to search for job opportunities. Using its massive search capabilities, Google finds and displays job listings from around the web directly in Google search.
how do you use google for jobs?
It’s really easy! Open google.ca in your browser and add ‘job’ to your search. If Google detects that you’re looking for a job (for example, if you search for ‘warehouse jobs’) the Google for Jobs box will be shown on the results page, with a list of recently posted jobs from around the web! You can click on the blue Google for Jobs banner to see even more jobs. There’s no special job search bar. It all happens right in your normal Google search bar.

If you want to use Google for Jobs to find Randstad jobs, just include ‘randstad’ in your search query. For instance, if you want to see all of Randstad’s latest administrative assistant jobs, search for ‘administrative assistant jobs randstad’ on Google and you’ll see all the most recent jobs posted on Randstad right in Google! When you discover an opportunity that you’re interested in on Google for Jobs, you’ll be sent to the company’s website to applyto the job. So if you have a My Randstad account, you can use it to apply to any Randstad Canada jobs you find through Google. (If you don’t have a My Randstad account, no worries, it’s easy to sign up!) You can also apply to jobs on Randstad Canada using your Indeed or Monster accounts.
