Our client currently has an opportunity for an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Toronto.
The Toronto team needs some additional skills to manage existing workload particularly in relation to ongoing projects in Canada and Internationally. Project workload includes work designing and managing Tailings Ponds.
These projects will give the right candidate an excellent opportunity to build expertise in Tailings Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering related to the Mining Industry. The successful candidate will gain valuable support from some of Canada's leading Geotechnical and Geoscience specialists.
Related work will also include:
Site Investigations Design and Monitoring of Earth Structures
Design of Slope Stabilization Measures and use of appropriate software
Tailings Pond Design
Slope Stability Assessments
You will be expected to work in the field with senior engineers and clients, as well as undertaking your our workload and being responsible for some projects. Related experience in geotechnical projects and a strong academic background in geotechnical engineering is desired. A Master's degree would be highly regarded.
Good written and verbal communication skill will be essential for maintaining and developing client relationships.
