Our client, a leading Canadian bank with an international presence and reach, has engaged Randstad to source a Director Operational Risk with extensive Capital Markets experience.
The incumbent will lead a team whilst owning the strategic responsibility for developing, implenting, guiding and executing the capital markets operational risk framework & risk assessment program and associated reporting and analysis.
This is a business crictical leadership role which requires extensive interaction and collaboration with various stakeholders such as the front office, risk management compliance, audit and legal, among others.
To succeed in this role, the following is an absolute prerequisite:
Intimate knowledge of Capital Markets products and business processes.
Excellent communication, relationship building and leadership skills
Proven strategic leadership experience in a risk / internal controls function
