We are seeking a Journeyman Millwright for a well-established manufacturing client of ours in the Delta area.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for performing preventive, planned and breakdown maintenance in a Production environment.
-Repairing machine breakdowns, installing new equipment and systems and relocating existing equipment.
-Fabricate and modify equipment components, work stations and fixtures to enhance quality, efficiency and safety.
-You will be required to keep accurate records of procedures, hours and material.
Qualifications:
-Possess a Red Seal Journeyman Millwright Certification
-3 to 5 years working experience in a Manufacturing Environment
-Proven mechanical and analytical aptitude for problem solving
-Experience working with various machinery such as: Lathe, milling machine, band saw, grinders, drill presses, multimeters
-Highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
-Detail oriented and capable of working with minimal supervision
-Good interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively in a team environment
-Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
