In this role you will work full-time hours on a 12 month assignment, and earn a rate of $23.36 per hour.

Responsibilities
Accountabilities
• You are responsible for delivering superior quality commitments and fostering a "One Stop Shop" environment for our broker partners.
• You will service our broker partners' needs in a timely and informed manner. Broker connection should constantly be challenging status quo to ultimately provide premier underwriting service.
• You will have an opportunity to strongly influence the results of the Broker Survey. Dedicated steps taken throughout the year will contribute to a successful outcome of this survey.
• You are committed to exhibiting a high degree of integrity when representing Broker/Aviva and while dealing team members and the leadership team.
• There will be a focus on service for our existing book of business and support to maintain our service level agreements
• Data entry for New Business, creating Salesforce accounts, creating portal submissions, documentation within new submissions
• Maintenance of new business trackers and ensuring a high level of data accuracy
• Processing new business binds, ensuring proper storage of documentation and communication, following up on outstanding risk items
• Ordering MVR, Auto+ and Hits reports for the business
• Completing risk follow ups with our broker partners and adhering to our abeyance system framework
• Working closely with leadership on work distribution, triage and SLA data builds
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• 3 years insurance experience is an asset
• Strong use of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is required
• Familiarity with an office environment and the ability to work independently, with little supervision
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Drive the Business – think strategically, champion the brand, make effective decisions
• Know the Customer – build trust and strengthen operations relationship
• Win with People – communicate with impact, lead and develop skills and knowledge of all those you come in contact with every single day
• Execute with Excellence – cultivate collaboration between teams and between underwriting and other business units
• Will to Win – set a clear vision, welcome and support challenge and change, influence others, defy uncertainty and eliminate ambiguity
• Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with confident decision-making and analytical skills
