As the Production Manager, you will lead our packaging department, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the efficient execution of our production plan.
YOUR ROLE AS A PRODUCTION MANAGER :
The Production Manager is responsible for managing all activities within the packaging department, including human resources, technical services, health & safety, quality, engineering, planning, and purchasing. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
As a Production Manager, you are responsible but not limited to the following:
•Champion the implementation of the company's Lean culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the packaging department.
•Manage all human resources to support short and long-term production execution, including staffing needs, development, and training.
•Coordinate daily activities within the department to execute operational plans in alignment with cost, quality, and service parameters.
•Manage and improve production systems, analyze technical requirements, and engage the team in health & safety and quality standards.
•Develop and execute action plans for health and safety, quality, service, productivity, waste, and costs in partnership with support functions.
•Evaluate equipment installations, develop improvement projects, and participate in purchasing decisions for departmental equipment and installations.
Qualifications
•Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree.
•8-10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with 3-5 years in a similar managerial position.
•Mastery of LEAN concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.
•Experience managing a team of approximately 100 employees is preferred.
•Multifunctional experience and familiarity with pharmaceutical or food environments are assets.
•Bilingualism in French and English is essential.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Mobilizing leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
•Client and results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
•Strong personal discipline and work organization.
•Ability to make quick decisions and communicate effectively.
•Active listening skills and availability to support the team as needed.
