Job Title: Millwright/Maintenance Technician
Shift: bi-weekly rotation days and nights - 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts
Pay rate: $43.13+ per hour, plus premiums
Location: Ancaster, ON

Responsibilities
- Help different departments with Mechanical support in the facility.
- Prevent breakdowns and operate with preventative maintenance techniques.
- Ensure a safe work environment through effective maintenance of equipment and make safe working conditions, when needed.
- Troubleshoot any mechanical breakdown in the production process.
- Use SAP systems.
- Assist in the installation of any new equipment in the facility.
- Report any concerns and/or problems to the supervisor through daily written and verbal reporting.
- Understand the mechanics of the facility's processing and packaging equipment and maintain it.
- Provide shift reports that include parts used, downtime, and root cause analyses.
- Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality.
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual.
- Adhere to GMPs and health/safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook and food safety practices.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid 433A license or valid equivalent license from other provinces/countries to be considered for this Millwright/Maintenance Technician position.
- Certificate of Qualifications, Ontario Industrial Mechanic Millwright preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity required
- Must be comfortable commuting to/from the Ancaster area
