Join a team of Machine Operators in a busy and expanding food manufacturing company in Brantford, Ontario. This is a permanent job opportunity. You will have the opportunity to learn the whole job process from the packaging side, to the machine operation and to the final shipping side of the business. This company is in the process of expanding with new machines with a growing potential of new leadership opportunities available for you to apply for as a full-time employee.
Job Title: General labourer/Machine Operator
Location: Brantford, Ontario
Shift: Rotate every 2 weeks, Monday to Friday
Hours: 7 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 11 pm
Starting pay rate: $19/hour

Responsibilities
Here are some starting job responsibilities:
-Package, bag and gently box baked goods (boxes weigh about 12 lbs each)
-Printing the box labels and push boxes through a tape machine
-Palletize by stacking taped boxes and using a manual pump cart to put onto a pallet wrapper to wrap skids
-Label pallet and record the order
-Rotate between packaging and palletizing role every 2 hours
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- Experience working in a food manufacturing facility as a machine operator or mixer
- Dough handling experience
- An interest in gaining new skills
