Responsibilities
- Coordination and optimizing delivery schedules
- Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments for drivers
- Finding the best carriers for our clients and the best rates, manage the carrier relations
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and assist customers with freight-related needs and questions
- Updating customer web portables with up-to-date information on deliveries
- Responding to email and phone for freight requests
- Preparation of operating documents for drivers, invoices, ensure all billing and driver information is accurate
- Updating/tracking shipments
- Driver follow-up
- Customs duties / clearances
- Assist with various tasks
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in transport industry in brokerage
- Bilingualism is preferred but open to English with functional French
- Customer service oriented
- Entrepreneurial energy
- Team player
- Positive attitudes
- Organizational skills
