Duties and Responsibilities

•Responsible for promoting and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions in his/her assigned work area; instructs, enforces and evaluates employees under their supervision to work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures; ensures workers receive appropriate training and information necessary to conduct their activities in a safe and healthy manner.
•Responsible for assigning duties to line Packagers and ensuring all SOP’s and GMP’s are followed during production.
•Ensure all packaging work order (PWO) documentation is complete and accurate. Perform production line checks as stipulated on the packaging work order.
•Perform verification of materials to ensure correct part number during the production run.
•Ensure quality, safety and efficiency on their specified production lines and reports quality and maintenance issues to be addressed.
•Ensure that the data entered on the Packaging Production Report is complete and correct.
•Ensure that the work areas meet GMP and Safety Standards at all times.

Details:
Weekend Day shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
**Must be looking for fulltime work - 40hrs/wk + OT
qualifications:Qualifications
•High school diploma required, but equivalent experience will be considered.
•Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills required, with the ability to read and comprehend SOPs and other written documentation.
•Minimum of one to two years of previous packaging experience working in a GMP/pharmaceutical or production environment.
•Flexible with the ability to adapt, respond quickly and manage change in a fast paced environment.
