Responsibilities
• Managing pick ups and deliveries schedules provided by drivers, ensuring timely and efficient transportation logistics.
• Arranging pickups for customers, coordinating with drivers and internal teams to meet delivery deadlines.
• Checking and verifying custom paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations and smooth customs clearance.
• Conducting inspections of dangerous goods, heated goods, and cargo control to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Rectifying handheld errors made by drivers in AS400 system during pickup and delivery processes, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Preparing freight forms accurately and efficiently, facilitating smooth documentation for shipments.
• Managing accounts for Farnell shunts and Courier gap shunts, ensuring accurate records and financial transactions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Working in the transportation industry is an asset
- Strong knowledge of computers
- Growth mindset
- AS400/ Truckmate an asset but not required
